Traditional Art / Sculpture / Fantasy

This is still a work in progress. It's a redesign of the Creature from the black lagoon a very badly mutated creature part man part aquatic life.
I've been using this as a bit of a test bed to see what level of finish I can achieve before I go mad.

It has a wire armature and is built out of super sculpy and stands roughly 8" at the shoulders. If you would like to see some of the early process pictures I will be posting them on my Blog [link]

I really like the unique design in Creature design sculpt by *firecrow78, the wonderful sinew like quality combined with the chitinous and spikey organic qualities make it look like some terrible combination of creatures best left un-named. ( Featured by !Thebuild )
